I’ve been overthinking a lot lately. It has taken over my life but I’m doing something about it because it affects people round me. I’m practicing mindfulness

Overthinking is something I struggle with too – you’re certainly not alone.

I find that making some time for my hobbies, talking with loved ones, and journaling (writing a list of events that went well in the day) really helps me to get back into the present moment a little bit and gives me some perspective. It helps me when I’m getting things out of proportion!

I do my hobbies too. I knit and play the keyboard and try to workout every morning That is good to write things down. I also try concentrating on my breathing and being grateful for the good things I have

I am a massive overthinker! I will overthink everything, i will wake up at 2am and think how i can use up everything in the fridge! During the day i simply HAVE to keep busy, with anything, keeping active tends to shut the brain up!

I’m so pleased I’m not the only one who does this. I lie in bed some mornings overthinking. I must try and get out of bed on these mornings and get on with my workout or something. Thank you

Even if its just a bit of moving it does wonders! Ive had a bad grumpy old week, just a quick walk to the shop and seeing the outside seems to shut my brain up a bit!
